James Walsh, founder of Ground Force Strength and Conditioning Training Systems, launched the company in 2014 after witnessing firsthand the challenges young athletes face during critical stages of growth and development. As a father and experienced trainer, James saw the need for proper evaluations and training approaches that cater to the dynamic growth patterns in children and adolescents.
Motivated by his own children's experiences in sports, James recognized the gap in youth athletic development, where many programs failed to address the crucial muscular and neurological changes that occur as children grow. Determined to make a difference, he combined his extensive background in human movement science, strength training, and injury prevention to create a system that not only improves athletic performance but also safeguards the long-term health of young athletes.
With over 15 years of expertise, James has worked with athletes of all levels, from youth soccer players to collegiate and professional athletes. His commitment to scientific rigor, individualized assessments, and injury prevention has made Ground Force Strength a leader in the field, providing athletes with the tools to excel and thrive.
